whatever, whenever, wherever

14 May 2014

My final uni deadline (I hope..) was on Friday so what is a celebration without food?! Ramen was one of the many things I was craving whilst endlessly working on my projects for weeks on end so me & my boyfriend went to get some over the weekend.

Kimchee Ramen - Prawns, Mussels, Kimchee and chilli in a Fish Bone Broth // £12

T22 - Soy Ramen, Chicken and Cock scratchings in a Chicken Bone Broth // £9

Bone Daddies is my favourite place for ramen and it's a great place for an easy lunch or dinner. It gets busy, there are queues and you'll have to share your table with strangers but the ramen is good! My favourite is the Sweet 3 miso ramen which they have taken off the menu (?!?!) so I tried the Kimchee ramen which I've actually been wanting to try (but I always order the sweet 3 miso ramen haha). It was actually really good but the broth was a little too spicy for me so it still doesn't beat my favourite! My boyfriend also tried something different, the T22 ramen which is simple but tasty. Both also come with eggs (Clarence court; the best!!), bamboo shoots and bean sprouts. The drinks are a little pricey but I do love the Soft Cocktail (watermelon, apple calpico & lime) which I always order too. The starters aren't anything to fuss about, I'd say just go straight to the ramen. It's not out of this world but it is the best ramen I've tried in London, I have been several times now so I recommend going early to avoid queues, checking the specials board & getting extra corn if it doesn't already come with your ramen, mmm!
